Splinter Karbon Fade · Signature collaboration · 2026
Brad was already wearing Splinters. So we built him his own.
He showed up to Daytona in a pair of our frames, and people kept asking about them. So we sat down in Charlotte and took the Splinter apart. Carbon-weave acetate up front. Wood temples carved out in red. His marks on the tips. It's still a Johnny Fly frame. Now it's also his.
What's in
the build
Splinter, rebuilt
Same shape Brad already wore every weekend. Everything else got reworked for him.
Carbon-weave acetate
The weave is set inside the acetate, so it catches light like the real thing without the brittleness. Polished to a deep gloss.
Red carve-outs
Dark wood, carved through to a layer of red that fades down the arm. Every pair's grain is its own. No two match.
His marks
Full-color BK logo on the tips, outline and all. Brad's call, and he was right.
Smoke polarized
The only lens we're running. Brad's pick. Cuts glare off asphalt, water and windshields, and keeps color true.
The details
do the talking.
The stuff you only catch when it's in your hand. The carbon look, the red carve-outs, his marks on the tips and his name inside the arm.
